Howie Kendrick was a most valuable player. That guy was hitting like no one else. Soto also. Rendon came through big today.

Dozier likes his own partial nudity a little too much. Uncomfortable.

There are old Expos fans celebrating too!!!!!!

Yes there are!   I want to cry but I am also at such peace.  This is all I ever wanted in sports.  This one thing.  Thank you thank you thank you Nationals. What a team.  It is amazing that a simple game can bring so much joy.  I love you all!

So many dudes I’m happy for. Happy for vets line Anibal and Kurt, one of my longtime favorites in Howie, Hudson for overcoming his injuries, Asdrubal for getting one with the Nats the second time around, Gomes after the near miss in Cleveland, Rendon and Soto for being stars, Eaton for justifying that trade... and of course Zimmerman and Strasburg; the Face and the Phenom whose arrival made it seem like things were gonna get better.

Addition by subtraction.

I’ll bet it’s all Rizzo can do to keep from telling all those a*holes who trashed him over shutting Stras down to tell the, THIS WAS WHY and to shove it.  Total vindication.

Can't wait to hear John Feinstein spin this.

Absolutely. Parra. Adams. This team was full of dudes who were on their last shot to win anything. And they did it.

Channel 4 just tossed to Lindsay Czarniak in Houston interviewing Parra's daughter who requested Baby Shark.

Random, but go look at the 2011 draft and see the absolute blunders teams ahead of the Nats made by passing on Tony.

Definitely Parra too. I actually watched a lot of D-Backs games years ago and he was a favorite due to his slick defense and great arm.
