Would like to see Scherzer assume the Karate Kid "crane kick"position for his first pitch.

Just a thought.

Gomes in for Suzuki

I think Gomes has looked pretty good at the plate, and he's a better defensive option shutting the running game down.

On Intentional Talk's show, Bregman today looks like a kid who just got taken to the woodshed.  I have a feeling his apology was triggered more by what his teammates and his family had to say to him than by his own realization that he maybe crossed the line.

EDIT: BTW, I'm sure this must have come up somewhere in the aftermath of the Bregman/Soto incidents:

Which pitcher did ‘Zuk have good career numbers against?

Gomes in for Suzuki

We're going to need pitching, defense and the offensive studs to lead the way but we're going to need a crucial hit from one of the others in the bottom of the order. Who ya got? I'm going with Gomes (although I have a sneaky feeling Zimmerman may do something special )

Gomes in for Suzuki

That's a tough choice here.  I know Suzuki is having trouble throwing, but Max usually throws much better with him than Gomes.

I think Suzuki is better a blocking the Max 60' dirt ball.

Charlie and Dave on the Radio? They’re the best broadcast team you can get.

Plus, Charlie’s Series clinching call should be legendary.

That's a bummer.  Any neighbors nearby with DirecTV?
