Max Scherzer just walked by and nodded. “I’m good.”

Threw for 10 minutes. Made windup motion. Pitching coach Paul Menhart and trainer Paul Lessard with him. He was emphatic in pronouncing his readiness.

Why is Suzuki on the roster if he can't go tonight?

This is precisely the sort of scenario I think many envisioned when Strasburg was first drafted. Time for him to fulfill the prophecy.
I'm fine with that narrative if we win, but jeez, I see headlines like this all over the place.  Hopefully Strasburg has fully unplugged himself from any screen!

he's not hitting and isn't as good a defender. Plus if max Pitches tomorrow, you want Suzuki Catching

It’d be great if we could score first and never look back.  I’d hate to see us get in another early deficit and have to claw our way back.

Odd stat mentioned in Fangraphs - there has been only one lead change in the entire series. Game 1.

It’s just hard as a fan not to be thinking back to his debut right now and remembering all of the hype about what he could possibly do.

MLB Network practically already handing the WS trophy to the Astros.  Good, this is where Nats perform best - underdogs with everyone counting them out...just like games 1 and 2.

10 or so minutes with Costas.    If I find it on their website, I'll give ya a link.

If we win tonight, we win Game 7 too!

We are 6-0 in road playoff games , 3-0 in elimination games, and 3-0 in playoff games started by Stras.  MASN notes that of the 66 times a Game 6 has been played in the World Series, the team with a 3-2 deficit has won the game 41 times!

Let's go Nats!  :whip: :whip: :whip:
