Why has Rendon seemed so glum all year...his perpetual grin has been replaced 95 percent of the year by more of a blank stare. Of course, he performed great all year so maybe it is about making as much money as you can while you can. Letting the happy-go-lucky guy fade to the rear to replaced by a hit-man.
