So all the hand wringing about Robles being hurt was unfounded. Robles has caught the final out for every clinching game this postseason so whatever happens, he has to be on the field for a possible clinch game.

I don't understand all the hand wringing. In the post-game press conference, davey SAID that we were winning 10-2 and SAID  that Robles recently had a hamstring issue, so he took him out to rest it more. There was no mystery.

No Kendrick?
They interviewed him on MLB a while ago.  He predicts he'll probably pinch hit today.   Said he was fine not starting.

What about Parra :hysterical:

That would be awesome! Maybe a walk off grand slam!

I think the guy in the shark suit at Nats Park might spontaneously combust.

After an extended "Baby Shark" intro.

Hey, if anybody missed the video of the organists playing Baby Shark in the National Cathedral, check it out.  Imref posted it on something like p. 13 or p. 15 of the "Here Come the Astros" thread.

There's a lot of hyper-activity in the room.

I don't care if it's Dozier, Taylor or Gomes. It would be cool if it was Zimmerman though. It doesn't have to be a homer. I would take a double  :D
I don't care who it is either.  But man, if it was Zimmerman, it would would be really cool, and a nice bookend to his HR in his first World Series AB.

RIzzo was just interviewed about Soto.  He said "he's a historian, he has great respect for people who came before him, and his name is going to be one of those names that people talk about years from now as 'I knew Juan Soto when.'"

Park is about 25% full an hour before game time. NATS making some money.

I’ve yet to see one Astros fan.

Was watching channel five interviewing folks outside the stadium a bit earlier. Most didn’t have tickets.  Looking foward to getting down there soon

RZ walkoff to win this in four games will be all the prof anyone needs in the existence of a higher being, and that he’s a baseball fan.
