That could mean that he's a fierce competitor but it could also mean that he's a stupid crap who is depriving himself of one of the fundamental food groups over 30 cents and needs to be put out of his misery.

Grienke really hasn't had a very good post season at all. Even the Yankees game where he only gave up 1 run was pretty shaky. Walked 3 and gave up 2 hits in the first inning, but somehow kept them to 1 run. Then gets pulled after 4 1/3 after giving up a single and walk.

Of course the media is playing that card, the Astros are the favored "Golden Child" team and they are behind. If the table was flipped and it was the Nats down 2 nothing then the media would be reminding us off their past failures and touting it as being a typical Nationals performance. They would also be praising the Astros and their past achievements and the godhead of Cole and Verlander and Altuve.
