The last Friday in October is...

Wear a Frankenstein mask or some Halloween costume or mask to tonight's Game 3!

Frankenstein was born in 1818 when Mary Wollenstonecraft Shelley, at the age of 21, wrote the story "Frankenstein". This special day was created by Ron MacCloskey from Westfield, New Jersey in 1997.

I'm going tonight. I was ready to spend up to $500 for Game 5 or 6, but that clearly isn't happening.

Here I'm thinking there's no way I could do this thread because I'll be at the game and unable to give it the proper attention :P

A pivotal game tonight and one I see us the most vulnerable in. Astros will do everything and anything to cause havoc, so the Nats need to respond in kind. Win today, I think we win tomorrow for sure.

I'm so nervous about this. Very nervous about Anibal Sanchez facing the murderous Astros lineup. To be perfectly fair, I would probably be just as nervous if not more so about Corbin because Sanchez is better about throwing his breaking balls for a strike.

It's funny...  before the series began I felt this was just bonus baseball.  Of course I wanted the Nats to win, but I had no expectations and was thrilled with them winning the NLCS.  Now that they're up 2-0 I'm :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

I don't have a good feeling about the butterfly pitch against the Astros specifically, but... maybe?

I was pretty nervous about Sanchez pitching in the NLCS,  He's got a career postseason ERA of 2.57 and was pretty darn good in his last outing. :). I think a 6 inning performance giving up 2-3 runs is a reasonable expectation for him, and that will give us a chance to win.

I know one person who is not nervous, and that is Anibal Sanchez.

Sanchez pitched well against the Dodgers as well and their lineup is pretty good.
