I’m bracing myself for having to listen to Joe Buck 30,000 feet in the air tomorrow night.

TUESDAY ON MASN: Watch "Nats Xtra: Postseason" at 7 p.m. on MASN

And for those who get the MLB Network on their cable package they have "Path to the Championship" featuring the Nats on today at 9-10 and again at 1-2.

Brian McCann is throwing out the first pitch tonight.  Seriously.

People will say the same about the Nats when we trot out Jayson Werth.

People will say the same about the Nats when we trot out Jayson Werth.

The difference is that Werth played the bulk of his career with the Nats and he retired from baseball here. The similarity would be if we trotted out Pudge a guy who was only here a couple of years when he was well past his expiration date and had already cemented his place in the HoF before he got here. I view McCann as a little poke in the eye. If they wanted someone memorable they could have gone with Bush since he was the president and his parents were regulars with the Astros or a star from the team's past like Biggio.

They could have trotted out Rendon's parents or Rice coach.

McCann wallowing in the shallows while failing to pick up the passed ball by the backstop when Ozuna comfortably made first after being half way back to his own dugout before realising he could run should have been my final memory of him.

Make them pay for this insult, boys!

(Image removed from quote.)

WUSA TV-9 reports that the Nationals WILL be wearing their navy jersey with the Nationals script on Tuesday in Houston.

about superstitions, a nod to the forum members who helped get this team out of the cellar by summoning the magic of the dumpster fire avis. :judge:

Watched it last night.    It's fast paced and definitely worth the hour.

Is the Nats roster the same as it was for the NLCS?  Been looking on line but don’t see it

Watched this morning. Good stuff. I can’t get enough of watching that highlight in game 7 when the Dodgers all started coming out of the dugout in the 9th when they thought they hit a home run.

Also when they showed Kershaw after giving up the HR to Soto I noticed a guy in a Caps jersey in the LF stands.

It likely won't be. Will probably be released this afternoon.

I heard last night that the rosters need to be submitted tuesday morning, so we should hear something soon.
