Zimmerman hitting the first home run and scoring the first run in Nats WS history is pure baseball poetry.
Showing the kids how to do it.

I'm sorry if it's already been discussed, but are the Astros stealing signs? I saw a lot of Astros signing covertly, they seemed to be anticipating Max's pitches in the first. But we'll see. If it really is a sign thing then it would continue, hopefully Max settles down. I know Max isn't tipping his pitches like Glasnow did for TB.

Could be; time to adjust

max was overthrowing but the NYYfan who logged on today was talking about sign  stealing.  Personally, I don't know how they find the time to steal signs when they spend so much time defendung Osuna.

I agreed with the 12’ shut down. Right now, I just feel Strasburg gives us our best chance in a matchup with Cole. Nothing against Max but Stras has been better this year.

Why didn't we just limit Strasburgs pitches prior to October?  We had a comfortable cushion.

When you see max spiking breaking balls and throwing 97, then he's too amped

Outside of that 4th ball to the first batter I think the ump has been pretty good.

Porter's one of the better balls and strikes umpires.  Zone is damn tight tonight though.

Sanchez made sense as the opener pick, just as Stras did in the wildcard game. But here we are, and they've had crazier comebacks
