Can you imagine this board if the Cards fourth starter was doing this to the Nats?

Didn’t they won’t the World Series with like 87 wins?
2006 83 wins.

You are right about the rule but I can't remember the last time I've seen it called in MLB. Maybe never.

I cannot recall the game, but there was one Nats game where the an opposing hitter got called back to the plate. Years ago. I'm almost sure.

When the hell was the last time we had a SP batting in the 8th?

You do have to make effort to avoid getting hit. Am I wrong about this rule?

I've always thought the rule said that. The only time I know of when it was called was 50 some years ago when it preserved Drysdale's consecutive inning scoreless streak

Anibal cruising.  Give him the 8th too
Yes. 89 pitches. Get the pen ready in case.

The one earlier in the game was pretty bad.    This one the ball was so slow.   He didn’t move

Yeah you do but they never enforce the rule.

He asked if he was wrong about the rule and I said nope. :mg:

It's hard to believe that Anibal is doing this to the same lineup that just tagged the Barves for 10 in one inning

It just has to be killing the Barves fans. Both of them.
