Suero is the replacement for Hudson while he is on paternity list. So he will come off when Hudson returns.

So no Strickland, but Guerra and Elias are on the Roster. I didn’t think we’d see Elias again this year.

Grant Paulson tweets that the Nats are expecting to have Hudson back tomorrow but the earlier start time may be an issue.

Picked a good time to have a kid Hudson!  I hope he gets back soon. I'm sure his kid will someday be glad his daddy went and played baseball cuz his team really needs him.

Hopefully his wife isn't one of those 'you better not pick baseball over your kid' types.

This is really poor timing to have a kid if you’re a baseball player.

He was on the Blue Jays when he impregnated her -- wasn't expecting to be playing in mid-October!  I'd cut their family some slack!

Remember Daniel Murphy got complaints from Mets fans about the nerve to have a kid during the season.  (around opening day if I recall)

He started the year with Toronto. Almost zero chance there to be in the post season.

Hudson will be tired when he gets back. But his arm will be rested.

No excuses. Next guy up.

That’s true. I was mostly being tongue in cheek. Not like there is always control over these things.

Actually, he was a free agent - he didn't even sign anywhere until February.  People seem to forget that Hudson's career almost ended after last year.  He opened this year on a minor league deal with the Angels after being out there all winter, then got cut during Spring Training.  To go from there to a critical back-end role in a playoff game is pretty impressive.

Who would you select them to take Hudson’s place? Fede?

Well. There are some ways to control but accidents happen...

If Robles isn't going to be right anytime soon they need to take him off the roster. These games are too important to be playing with a short roster.

MAT has been great but where is Robles? He better be able to play soon or they made a major mistake not replacing him.

80 percent Robles or 100 percent Stevenson?

If he can pinch hit, then it's really no different than MAT being on the bench...

Yeah. If they had simply kept him off the NLCS roster he would be eligible to return if they advance.

I agree with some other posters...Stevenson should have been in and Adams out...
