I saw very few Cardinals fans at the Park the last two games. As in almost none. It could be because they also wear read. Or it could be because they got a serious beat down. I'm sure getting beat like this by the lowly Washington Nationals is severely their world view.
I went to one of their message boards after game 2 and it was dire. They were so angry at all of their players and wanted to blow the entire team up (which is funny because before the series started, they assumed they were going to roll over us). I can't imagine it's any better today.

They overachieved this year and were lucky the Cubs collapsed. I am sure they will be competitive the next couple years but they are not a dynasty in the making. I can’t remember the Cards having a prolonged stretch of bad years. They are very lucky as fans that their team is almost always good. A bad stretch such as the Reds are going through would be nice and they could test their fandom.
sorry if it’s been posted already, but has anyone seen a link to Charlie and Dave’s call of the final out by Robles?
