as long as the yankees are playing, every other team gets bumped to the more undesirable slots :smh:

Unconfirmed NLCS schedule times:

Why isn't the Monday/holiday game a 1 o'clock start?

because not every state has the day as a holiday.

Nothing like a 4 pm Wednesday start to freak up any kind of home field advantage.

It’s a federal holiday celebrating the best Italian explorer to ever sail the high seas.  We owe so much to his courage. :mg:

Many states call it Indigenous People's Day.  Explains why Cleveland and Atlanta are taking the day off.

Yeah, but there's also the factor of Houston being a huge market too.  You're talking about two huge markets playing each other, and then another really big one playing St. Louis.

It wouldn't matter if the yankees were playing tampa or kansas city, they would still get the prime time slot

in order to win this series, guys like Suero and Rainey need to put their big boy pants on.

Doubt we see much of suero since he’s hopefully off the roster tomorrow

Those times were unconfirmed for a reason.

Here is official schedule

https://www.mlb.com/postseason

Game 2: Saturday at 4:08
Game 3: Monday at 7:38
Game 4: Tuesday at 8:05
Game 5: Wednesday at 4:08

Houston-Yankees gets 4 pm game on Tuesday and the 8 pm game on Wednesday. Seems fair.

Game 6 and 7 TBD

I am kind of amazed at Elias being on the roster. I hope they don't try to use him against a stretch of lefties like was the Corbin plan

I know conventional wisdom is to pitch Scherzer and Strasburg as much as possible, but with Sanchez pitching this well, might an alternative strategy be to go with a four man rotation and use one of the big three out of the pen on their bullpen day?

Makes sense to me. The Cards lineup is good but not the Dodgers.
