Scherzer admits he can’t be pitching in relief this series. Knows it’s different for a 7-gamer than a 5-gamer. As for showing up in the pen in the bottom of the 10th the other night, he said he thought he could give them 1-2 batters “if things got crazy.”

I think we all knew that we couldn’t hide our Pen forever. I appreciate Max honesty. However I bet Dave will have to tie Max down when Max is trying to walk to the bullpen
