call me crazy but I actually like that the Cardinals have "home field advantage"  With this 2-3-2 format all we have to do is split in St. Louis and we are guaranteed 3 straight games on our turf. ...This really could happen

I don't think home field means anything (it certainly didn't yesterday).  Actually, Max on the road may be the better, calmer Max.

Considering the long ball is Max's only weakness these days, Busch stadium seems like a better place for him to pitch.

You are correct.  I keep thinking game 4 was on Tuesday, not Monday.  Max gets to pitch in his hometown.

2002 I believe had 2 wild card teams playing in the WS (angels/giants) also 2014 (giants :?/royals)

That's short rest for Max.  I think Corbin will start Game 2, Max Game 3, Stras Game 4, Corbin Game 5, Max Game 6, and Stras Game 7.  If it goes that far.
