The Nationals will spend the night in Los Angeles and then travel to St. Louis for Friday's game there, which will be on TBS.

Even if we lose in the NLCS I cant help but say this season has been probably the greatest I've seen in Nats history. That being said let's shove their dicks in the dirt

It is difficult to encapsulate in words how much I loathe the St. Louis Cardinals, Bob Carpenter, and their entitled fans.  This series will not make that any better.

I don't see how it's even close.  2012 is the only contender and tonight blew that year away.

Also great redemption to the "be competitive every year and see what happens in the crapshoot playoffs"...

What does our pitching look like for this series:

Sanchez,Scherzer,Strasburg,Corbin,Sanchez,Scherzer,Strasburg?   That puts everyone on regular rest and looks pretty good.

Cant let the Cardinals get 10 runs in the 1st inning and we might have a chance

I thought the season was over in May. This is truly surreal.

I think so.

Can we run the rotation so that Sanchez pitches Game 1 and then is available out of the pen? Even with short rest and ~90 pitch counts, I'd rather do that and try and get two starts out of Scherzer, Corbin, and Strasburg. Sanchez and Voth can be out of the pen as long as they can start an inning clean.

The bullpen has to step up for at least one game. Rainey was good last night, but we need one game where Suero/Strickland/Rodney are able to get outs.

House money, baby

we avenged our loss to the Dodgers.  Now it's time to exorcise the ghost of Pete 'f'ng' Kozma and beat the Cards!

What's the scouting report on these Cardinals and their rotation? I confess I know very little about how this St. Louis team went from third to first in the second half of the season.
