Davey definitely has grown on me, and not just this post season. I didn't care for him at all last year, and was still bitter about Dusty not being back and the team taking a big step back. From the beginning of this year, I started not buying into the narrative that he's an idiot. His decisions all seem thoughtful, and even if they blew up, they seemed like there was justification for going that way. He did a much better job of managing for the marathon of a 162 game season than he did last year. Players seem to like him, and have to say he out-managed Roberts this series. I think he's learning, is a good fit for the guys on the team currently, and could develop into a pretty good manager.
