Without Rendon, with aging pitching, and BP issues this team could win it all or easily finish 4th in the NL East next season. If it's the latter, then all the angst about WHY they gave Davey an extension ensues. Can hear it now!
This isn't college football where coaches have mega buyouts that cripple athletic departments budgets. If a coach is extended and later needs to be fired...big whoop. Fire him and give him his couple million.
