MLB.com is predicting that Victor Robles will make his triumphant return to the lineup tonight

https://www.mlb.com/news/nationals-dodgers-nlds-game-5-preview

Quote
What might the starting lineups look like?

Nationals: The Nationals finally broke out offensively in Game 4, helping to back Max Scherzer’s gem and sending this series back to Dodger Stadium. Victor Robles could be ready to return to the lineup for the first time since injuring his right hamstring in Game 2.

1) Trea Turner, SS
2) Adam Eaton, RF
3) Anthony Rendon, 3B
4) Juan Soto, LF
5) Howie Kendrick, 1B
6) Asdrúbal Cabrera, 2B
7) Kurt Suzuki, C
8 ) Victor Robles, CF
9) Stephen Strasburg, P

You would think Zim would have to be in there today.

gotta be:
turner
eaton
rendon
soto
kendrick
Zimmerman
Suzuki
Taylor

Even if Robles is healthy, Taylor is the hot hand.   No way Zimmerman sits tonight.

I like Robles for defensive purposes.  There is a much bigger gap between him and Taylor in that area than I would have guessed and it's cost us a bit.

That said, I've never heard of anyone coming back quickly from even a mild hamstring strain, so I doubt he really is ready and if he is, it will probably neutralize his range anyway.

Ideal if Stras pitches through 7 IP, then Doo for the 8th, and Huddy for 9th?

Kendrick is a crap first baseman.

You act like we've scored a total of 2 runs this series.

Keep in mind that the Nats hit much better against Kershaw than against Walker Bueller. The Nats could theoretically come back against Clayton Kershaw in the late innings.

I even went to Party City.     Of course, I should have gone to the doctor but a man has to have priorities.     :)

Perfect scenario. Just like Monday.
