Everybody will want to talk about Kershaw, but the focus should be on Rendon and Soto. They are 2 of the best hitters in the game. Rendon is a legitimate mvp candidate. Soto is a 20 year old phenom. The type of hitters that can change a game in an instant. They did just that tonight. Legendary stuff.

He seemed composed with reporters afterwards. Conducted himself with class.

Keyshawn is a stud.   His career can handle this.  I’m sorry but sometimes those of us that remember Steve Rodgers and blue Monday deserve a little sunshine too.

I don’t care what time it is.   It’s time for a dog other than the blessed franchises to have a little time in the sun.  I ain’t going to bed any time soon.

still listening to midnight rambler.

give it up for Rendon this series, too.  3 for5  in game 5 with 3 runs scored and a homer.  3 rbi in game .  A quiet 7 for 17 in the series with plenty of walks. Toss in some good defense too.  MVP!

God bless the almond brothers

Many heroes tonight, Strasburg, Corbin, Rendon, Soto, KENDRICK, Hudson, huge AB by Eaton in extras and let's not froget two huge outs from Rainey. :worship:

Many worthy...don’t forget stras.   He’d DIDN’T WILT... he held the line!

Keep in mind that the Nats hit much better against Kershaw than against Walker Bueller. The Nats could theoretically come back against Clayton Kershaw in the late innings.

gosh, I hope the Nats sign Hendrick for a billion dollars so everyone can enjoy watching a true dufus at the plate....swinging at pitches that bounce 5 or 6 times before they reach home plate....same for Zimmerman....can't wait to swing at a pitch that rolls towards the plate.....

This post did not age too well.

Wild Card was like the Caps beating Columbus.
This series was like beating the favored Tampa Lightning.
The next series will be like beating the Pens.
I agree. Winning the WS will be like winning the Cup

I have a ton of NLCS tickets but I snagged some more at 3am last night. Good thing because this morning I’m getting seriously hit up by Johnny come latelys.

The tix on the Nats site will be gone by today.

I almost quoted him, but the thought 'it's too easy." This is his shtick. It's all he has.

a few GDT's back I made a disparaging post regarding Mr. Howie Kendrick. At this time i would like to apologize to Mr. Kendrick.
My post was ugly, poorly thought out, and just plain wrong. Mr. Kendrick, I am truly sorry and sincerely apologize.
Thank you for your service to all of Natsdom this season, especially your heroics last night in the wonderful game 5 victory over the dodgers.

No fan of Harper but are you going to say the same about Rendon?
Relax, Rendon isn’t going anywhere. He’s CLEARLY going to take the Nats offer.
