Only thing worse I can think of in the modern era is the Minnesota Twin's 16 straight postseason game losses.
That is small stuff compared to the Washington Capitals. Ten playoff appearances and never making to the conference championship series. Like the Nats, they dominated most regular seasons.
The Capitals give me hope. Knock on the door enough times and you may just eventually get through.
