I saw that angle. It shows Taylor getting a good jump on the ball and taking a good route. He stops because he knows he can't get to it and doesn't want the ball to bounce over his head by getting too close to it. Even if he runs full speed and runs into the fence he doesn't make it to that ball.

Still confused:  Sanchez=1 run, 4 hits, 87 pitches and Dave pulls him for Corbin.   Have heard 50 reasons why and still confused. Ain't managers a mystery?

This has been explained ad infinitum. It was the right move that didn’t work out. If you’re still confused, maybe it’s you?

Thinking it’s the wrong move is reasonable. Saying you don’t understand the reasoning is altogether different. I think you fall into the first group.
