Or Voth

I love Voth but no way he's my guy up 1 with Corbin available and Bellinger leading off.

It was the right move. Just didn’t work.

Dozier was playing him up the middle. The call was hit right where  he would have been.
I am just amazed they would shift on a bum like Freese?

The announcer is bad enough but where on earth did TBS find this "analyst"?

I’m not conceding the series. Nats in 5. Scherzer and Stras won’t wilt.

I've also said this before but I think our bullpen coach is absolute dogcrap. Our guys have sucked for years and they pretty much always look insanely unprepared to be out there, which is pretty much his only job.

Corbin was a vastly better option compared to anyone one else in the pen to get us to the 8th.

This a stupid conversation. I understand you don’t like the results.

So, I guess there will be a Game 5 after all...

No game 5 in Los Angeles, if the series is lost Monday night.

Getting the pitchers prepped is the pitching coach's job.  The bullpen coach is more of a gofer than anything else.  If it had an impact on pitchers then all bullpen coaches would be retired pitchers.

Atlanta

Am I the only one who thinks Francour is fine? I think he is meh on the Braves broadcasts because their team is really lame and boring but with Ernie he's pretty good.

Most conversations between disappointed folks are not the best

I don't know why anyone would blame Martinez. Corbin is by far our best option for the 6th inning, by a mile. Maybe Doolittle for the 6th but that's a toss-up at best. Tell me how it's Dave's fault he trusted the $25 mill starter with a 3 ERA over Wander Suero and Rodney?

Why do people keep insisting Corbin was the best option? HE LOOKED TERRIBLE IN GAME 1. Dodgers figured him out. Don’t swing at the junk out of the zone. They teed off on him tonight. He’s not cut from the same cloth as Strasburg and Scherzer. Those guys are in a different class.

Are they both gonna pitch complete game shutouts?

Bullpen coach's job is to inform the relievers of who they're facing and the scouting reports. Pitching coach isn't in the bullpen talking to them when they warm up. bullpen coach is going over matchups (well at least good ones are)

Right call, BPA in that situation. It doesn’t always work out.

I agree.  The only problem is the Dodgers hitters are loose and confident now, so both Max and Stras have to be at their best, and hopefully give us at least 8 innings.
