I think he’s referring sacrifice bunts. Bunting for hits still makes sense for the most part.

Given the original tweet - it sounds like they are talking about making bunting for hits an okay thing to do. And I agree with Mathguy that the shift makes that really, really attractive to just keep it in people's minds. Harper would do it with some success in the early years.

I think the road alternates are terrific but with teams like the Nats and ChiSox having dark tops, it'll look like SD is wearing home unis.

I see that Arizona has made some changes to their uniforms too. No more stupid snake scale gradients and no more awful charcoal gray road uniforms. Now they’ve gone from having possibly the worst uniforms in pro sports to being merely kinda bland. A huge improvement.
