I have no idea how to read all that.  Does the 1.5 spread mean that if someone bets on the Dodgers, and the Dodgers win by 1 run, that the bettor loses the bet?

Yes.

The Money Line bets are just betting on who you think will win. If you bet 100 dollars on the Nats and they win, you will will 132 dollars. Conversely, you would have to bet 152 dollars on the Dodgers to win 100 dollars if they win.

But this betting line has much more to do with the odds of winning a baseball game.  It has to do with the number of people betting on both sides.  Since LA is bigger and much closer to Las Vegas, many more are betting on LA.  So the payoffs have to adjust to get people an incentive to bet on the Nats

Positive number = what you get if you bet $100 and the team you bet on wins
Negative number = what you need to bet to get $100 if they win.

So if you bet $100 on the Nats, and they win, you get $232 (your $100 + $132).
If you bet $152 on the Dodgers, and they win, you get $252

I believe the spread takes into account odds of winning/losing by a set number of runs (in this case 1.5).

Total = total # of runs

Bottom line, we're big underdogs.

Totally off topic and I apologize, but is the instant pot really good? I've heard so many horror stories about them exploding and such . I have really wanted to get one but I have been holding off for that reason. Are there advantages in an instant pot over a crock pot or are they basically used in the same capacity?

I've had one for about 2 years now and still use it at least 2-3 times a week.   The big advantage is speed, and that you can cook frozen meat.  I can make a beef stew in about 30-45 minutes in the IP and have it come out falling apart.

Same with a pork shoulder. 45 minutes and it's easily fork shreddable, pull apart tender. We love ours too. I think it was Imref talking about his that made me buy one for my wife as an anniversary gift.

Ribs make the instant Pot purchase worth it. I can now cook short ribs on a weeknight. In fact I did Korean Short Ribs last night. Before it would have taken hours.
