Maybe Doolittle's issues were more about fatigue than anything else. He was overused in the first half of the season and the rest seems to have done him some good. Have to say he has handled all of this with class though. I remember previous "closers" who would get their jock strap in a bunch over a change in role. These guys are truly team oriented.

I totally agree.  We had to lean on Doo so heavily, and he finally wore down.  He got some rest, and I think has returned to form.  However, he understands it's about matchups and that Huddy is also very capable of getting the final outs.  Doo is a team player...they all are.  I think this is by far the best team chemistry and selfless group we've had.  That counts for a lot, and I hope that Rizzo and Davey continue to emphasize that culture with any offseason moves.
