We gotta get busy. It’s only the 2nd inning. There’s time.

I'm so tired of Scherzer not showing up in big games.  He's useless.
Yeah what a bum.

Not just tonight...every postseason appearance he's had for us.

How much longer are we stuck with him?

I can totally see Stras opting out of this crapshow...

Would be fitting for his time with the Nats to be bookended by controversial decisions not to start him in the postseason.

I know it's easy for me to say now, but I was wondering why they wanted Max to pitch this one and not Stras.
Based on his body of work over his years with the club, the awards, etc. Not the best criteria.

Safest choice for Davey. If this had happened to Stras, everybody would be killing him for not starting Max. Hell, he may well have been ordered to start Max. Not his decision?

No. We need them to get no hit tonight. We need them to be embarrassed.  It's the only way the Lerners will fire Rizzo and the coaching staff

Not really.  Prior to tonight, a lot of people have raked him over the coals in postseasons past for his performances.  Some of that criticism was warranted, some was a bit excessive (not his fault Rusty Choker had the bright idea to use him as a reliever), but tonight pretty much cements the idea that he can't be trusted in big games.

Better than Dusty trotting Werth out to left field for every postseason game.

He is a bum when it matters.  Whenever he's needed in a big spot he craps the bed.

We literally aren't even competitive tonight. Total no-show. Even Rendon defensively is lost.

actually, this board did vote to start Strasburg. I thought it was an easy decision.  But, we're still in it so lets score some runs!
