On MLB Tonight, the dude in the mohawk named the Nationals as the team "most flying under the radar" of all of the Spring Training teams in Florida.  He noted that they won at a 108 game pace during the last 2/3+ of the season last year, and said that they have the talent to win 108 this year!  Interesting.

Listening to 106.7 on my out and about this morning.     Carp was being interviewed.    He discussed Lou Brock and the '68 Cardinals when asked about Trea Turner.     Carp's in mid-season form.      Drink.

the Nats keep posting photos on their social media of Eric Thames that make one wonder if there's a PED suspension in his near future.

Rizzo already in the one game at a time mode.    They talked a little about Kieboom starting from day one.    When the "panel" discussed a Nats' preview after the Rizzo interview, the discussion devolved into the NL East.    Most of them were in the sack for the Mets and Barves.     Standard stuff.

Thought you were a Medicrat (Parts A and B).

BTW   For those of you who aren't Plutocrats and/or don't have MASN in your area, the MLB Network will carry the Nats/Astros tomorrow.

Back in early 2017, after his return from Korea and hot start, he was "randomly" tested several times. As he said at the time, "If people keep thinking I'm on stuff, I'll be here every day. I have lots of blood and urine."

They asked Rizzo several of the same questions which Chris Russo had asked Dave Martinez earlier today - what effect the long postseason might have on getting the pitching staff ready for the season, what the expectations were for Kieboom. Russo asked about Soto, including what effect the lack of line-up protection from Rendon might have. Dave talked up Soto, both his skill and attitude, but didn't really answer the protection issue.
