The pizza doesn't suck but the promotion was bullcrap. I texted them after the K and it came back saying that I had to wait for Harper to strikeout. :? I sent it again and got the promo code but it says you have to order within 30 minutes.

The text with the code on Monday didn't mention the 30 minute time limit. I tried the code on Tuesday and it did nothing. I got the same message tonight as you saying I jumped the gun. Sent it a minute later and got the code. I attempted to order and it was a total clusterfreak. If you could actually complete the order you can set the pickup up to 7 days out.

Glad for Difo. Don't think he is back next year.

Has FP said that was the biggest hot of Wilmer's career?

No but he's been ripping the people on the internet who don't like him. He said they should come up to the booth when they're at Nationals Park to kiss his ass. :poke: :stir:

So that's what that meant. The wording was vague.

This is a big game.  If the Nats lose, the Brewers will be in the home field advantage position.  Isn't it ironic that the Nats will have to face the hottest team in MLB in one winner take all game?

More and reflection on the schedule than the team, methinks.

FP's okay. I rode the elevator at the Park once and tried to talk with him and he was a bit of a dick, but he does a good job of sharing insider observations and know how.  I like how he reads lips and catcher signs.

Do you guys realize how many people are trying to play this? I can guarantee 99% of the entrants never heard of this joint and will never set foot in a store.

You should frequent GDTs more often.    We do that all the time.

Totally off topic, but you know who’s really a dick? Cal Ripken. I’d heard that before and I met him recently and it’s true.

He was a great signing this year.  Not many, if any, better #4 starters around.

agree!

So if the Brewers or Nats have homefield locked up, how much should they try in the Cleveland Series. How much Obligation do the Nats have to be competitive since those games have playoff implications?

3 minutes to text for the code, but the promo code has a 30 minute lifespan

I have no problem putting Harper on 1st base in this situation.  2 outs

in what way?

He gave a speech to a group I was with and it was all about him. Totally the worst speech I’ve ever heard. And apparently he charges $50-100K for these types of events. We did pictures afterwards and he refused autographs and it was basically pushing people through as quick as possible. I also know a former sportswriter who said he was always a jerk to the press.
