So that just means you won't have any travel excuses, FP...

Thank goodness we’re done with FP after game 162. TBS has the wildcard game which could mean Ernie Johnson and Ron Darling.

So if the last game of the season is for wild card home field, do you pitch max and have stras on regular rest for the ex or hold out max for the wc?

Where do you get the 25?  Without having to board a ship with knife in your teeth.

the 7 year is good stuff too and much cheaper I have a large stock of the 7 (but the 18 and 25 are out of this world)

I have two ways, I know someone who works at an embassy and can get them for me and I also know people who travel to Nicaragua regularly and can bring them back.

No style points. And especially at this point in the season. The Brewers are lucky they are playing Pittsburgh also.

Yup! Good thing we are playing the lowly Marlins. Our coaching staff looked like the Three Stooges trying to decide whether to leave Rodney in the game.

Mo: “Larry, should I leave Rodney in the game”?

Larry: “Sure, why not. It’s only ONE GAME. Besides, the Cubs lost today”.

Mo: “Curly, should I leave Rodney in the game?

Curly: “Yes, leave him in the game!!! I know he’ll  BLOW ANOTHER LEAD but, extra inning games build character”. NYUK! NYUK! NYUK!

SLAUGHTER Rizzo, Sendley-Henley, and the rest of his comedians at seasons end - coming soon. Geeeesh!!!

Stras has lost the Cy because of Dave and his bullpen mismanagement.

Stras pitches a shutout, and can't get the W!  I've NEVER seen a team that has such a dropoff from starters to relievers. Has anyone else?

Never!!!

How can an organization have guys like Strasburg, Scherzer, Harper, and Rendon all on the same team yet not even sniff a League Championship????? Other than Rendon the other three fell into Rizzo’s lap.

Fire Rizzo on October 2nd!!!

Nope.

It's like little league baseball. The "B" pitchers are all in the bullpen- the rest of the team knows this, but has to act like they are an important part of the team. It's way past time to ditch the pitch counts and let our starters go 9 innings! We can do this in the playoffs, but we have to get there first.  Our bullpen have their own twisted version of 'relief"  Instead of putting out the fire, they come in and pour gasoline on it! When the 2019 season is done, the pitching stats will be brought to light. Any 5th grader will see that the Nats 2019 pitching staff makes history.

We have 3 stud starters and Sanchez has come on like gang busters. And the really pleasant surprise has been the way the 5th starters have come out of nowhere.  But then we get to the bullpen and it’s a complete cluster freak. I don’t know how the starters particularly Stras haven’t mutinied yet.

But I don’t go along with the idea of ditching the pitch count. Having starters go 120-130 pitches every start is a recipe for disaster.
