Today my wife and I attended a game at the Kyocera Dome is Osaka. The Rakuten Golden Eagles Visiting the hometown Orix Buffaloes. One of two teams in Osaka. A good time was had and not just because cute young ladies carry around kegs of beer and serve you at your seat. More details to follow.

Did you get to keep your vuvuzela?

Bringing back some cheers to DC?

Ties should be a part of the Nats Park ground rules:

The games in Japan end after the 12th inning, even if there is a tie. Most stadiums don’t have big parking lots and people commute to the games by subway. If the games were to go late and end after the subway shut down, people wouldn’t be able to get home.

My biggest regret about visiting Japan is that I visited it during the baseball offseason. You simply must produce a detailed trip report.

Cool. The other team in Osaka is the Hanshin Tigers. I probably would have preferred to attend one of their games as the stadium is outdoors and older. But they were visiting the Giants in Tokyo. Off to Korea today.

I could eat gochujang and kimchi on cheerios.  Or Ovi-o's.  Love Korean food.
Off to Korea today.
