Mets just got swept and traveled after a night game yesterday. Syndergaard got rocked in his last start. I was certainly not expecting this...

They didn't get swept, the Phillies won to avoid the sweep.  We're the ones about to get swept, likely a bunch of times.

So the outfielders can override their "cards"?

I was rooting for the Phillies.  The Mets are down but not out.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Mets win 18 of their next 20.  Everytime we plan their burial they come crawling out of the coffin like the world's most annoying zombie.

you do realize that someone needs to be warmed up and ready before you yank him?

Hasn't Ross basically been a twice through the order guy?? Mets order was coming up for the 3rd time. Wouldn't it have made sense to have someone ready?

I must have missed something, but why is Gomes playing today?

Yes.   The Brewers know how to use Gio.  Yesterday they removed him after THREE innings.

They’re pitching is terrible. The fact that they need to use Gio at all speaks to that.

I guess we can’t win them all. However looks like Atlanta can.

It's a good series if we're within 8 of the Braves when we play them

That would be something if they swept all 7 from Atlanta and finished one game back.

If the Nats Win all seven I'll streak the neighborhood.

No need to worry about that. Itll be double digits by the time the Nats leave Atlanta

The local football team would not be able to do that either.

We'll get them tomorrow...the second day of a road trip is the hardest...

Especially those long trips down 95.
