FP is very good about explaining pitch selection and what goes through the batters’ and pitchers’ minds. Better than any announcer I’ve listened to, actually.

You won’t hear that here though....

Especially for a non-pitcher. Jim Palmer wasn't bad at it IIRC.

Not so sure you're right here, for after spending years listening to Red Sox & Yankee announcers, FP seems like any analyst who played baseball
