They’ve now played .667 ball (52-26) since May 24. Thanks to the Dodgers’ loss last night, that’s now the best record in baseball during that prolonged stretch. And they’ve won 13 of their last 17, with all four losses coming after they blew a lead in the eighth or ninth inning. So they’ve led in the eighth inning or later in 17 consecutive games. That’s really hard to do.

Re the white uniforms...note all but the pitcher have white caps. Apparently they didn't think through the part where a white cap would be a distraction to the hitters.

Didn't even notice the Cubs were wearing their blue hats yesterday until I was watching another game and they mentioned it. Or I guess I should say.......I didn't realize they should have been wearing white hats

The Cubs are all wearing white hats today except for the pitcher. I think they got away with it yesterday before MLB put a stop to it.
