That bunt was as perfect as I have ever seen in a baseball game. I can't fault Bryant.

that bunt is on the cubs ground crew

he was playing too far back with a pitcher hitting, even with two strikes.

why not go for the 1-hit CG shutout? Go ahead and warm-up a reliever, but give Sanchez a chance. He's had a no-hitter (at least once) in his career, but this would be nice! Either way, a great way to start the series. And, either the Braves or Mets lose today, so we finally gain something...

Matinez pulled Corbin after 8 yesterday -- almost identical scenario.  Why is he letting Sanchez play on today?

I'm not taking that bait -- root for the Braves.

I can never get myself to root for either team. Whatever happens, happens.

I'm loving how they are misplaying these balls because of the sun. Stupid day games.

Sanchez threw 80 pitches in his last outing vs 113 for Corbin. Also, the pitcher may have some input on the decision.

Sanchez get us through 8 and let Grace finish the 9th

I agree but the only downside is if Grace gives up 4-5 runs it gives Cubs some momentum going into tomorrow. Total shutdown is more demoralizing.
