:lmao: This is why I've planned my retirement around SS not being available.

Speaking of the DMV, there is one in Manassas now, right next to the Deluth Trading Company

Yeah.  Might have to try that as the word that the Warrenton location was quick got out and now the lines/waits are crazy.

So I'm back home left to lick my wounds and think instead about tonight's runaway win.  They said to ante up nag, we want your money.

Tonight's game is being dedicated to the hard working folks at the SSA. I just wanted to start this in case I didn't make it back in time for the game tonight. :)
"Hard working"? Are you sure you are talking about that government agency?

I had to go to the Manassas office over the course of a few weeks.    I submitted all the paper work but kept getting notices of money due to them.    I finally called and the lady who was working my case got promoted and they lost all the paper work.   I had to resubmit.   The first trip isn't bad.    They let you think everything is taken care of then they start sending the letters.

The nice lady said they look at the past 2 years and gave me some forms to submit next year that show we’re below the $170k threshold and won’t be subjected to the $54 (a piece) surcharge.

The most efficient government agency I ever encountered was the Selective Service System.    :)     Well, it's off to the pool for a pre-game swim.

That’s because all they had to do was juggle some ping pong balls. Not even the government can screw that up.

To quell any uproar about posting the curly W tonight, I have to work tomorrow so I’ll be going to bed well before the game ends so I’ll get to it tomorrow morning. Thank you for your patience and understanding now back to the regularly scheduled retirement planning. ;)

Though it was the ping pong balls that finally got me, I was involved with my local board long before that.    It took 'em years to find me.

So like, when you get drafted, how is service determined? Like does each branch hold a separate draft, or is two different ping pong ball containers? Like it comes up Navy and then *name*
