Imagine that.  Overuse Doolittle and what happens?  Doolittle DOES NOT have to pitch every 9th for God’s sake.  Is Martinez an idiot?
Who pitches the 9th? Hudson? Then who is pitching tomorrow?

Rizzo has stuck with Martinez this year, but he has been a real amateur lately.

He and his agent would nag about not being allowed to get saves
He’s saying he’s tired though. If he won’t go in the DL he needs like a week off.

Doolittle threw 13 last night and was off the three days before that. He should have been ok tonight.

I think it's safe to say he's not okay

He’s openly complained about being gassed. His fastball has nothing on it. How much more do you need to see?

This.  I don’t understand how Martinez doesn’t see this while it is happening.

Just go with 23, or can we find two more insanely ineffective lefthanded relievers to pick up?

Failure to understand simple situations is a pretty common problem for people who are just plain stupid.

Obviously not. But no issues going to him tonight.

He also had a two week period after the all star game where he only pitched three days. He’s lost soemthing.

Right so he probably shouldnt be going three days in a row if you can help it. Which is why bringing in Doolittle made sense.
