I was more into the character part.     I don't know Slate other than his comments here.    However, Reverend Jim always cracked me up.

I remember it being quite odd to see Christopher Lloyd as the evil Klingon commander in Star Trek 3 when all I knew him as was Rev. Jim.  Now most folks remember him as Doc Brown.
