that's the game right there, that was probably a two run gamble that backfired

Time to pull Bo down from the booth to take over 3rd.

Has a team ever replaced a 3rd base coach between innings?    Send him to the showers?

That has to be the worst send I've seen by Hendley. No outs, down by 3, slow runner, gets throw out easily.

Who knew Suero could get Freeman out?

I'm still obsessing on Sendley.

So two bullpen arms are joining the team so that means Blazek and Grace are gone?

He'd make a perfect 3rd base coach in T-Ball where you just run until they tag you out. Just stand there windmilling em around.

Mindfact:    I'm faster than either one at that distance.

Rosenthal reporting we are getting Elias from the Mariners. Lefty reliever

Not necessarily, just keep him in the dugout.

Maybe just switch the 1st and 3rd base coaches.

Their closer.  Pretty high era, but looks decent lately.

I'm serious.    :)     However, it would have to be a straight 270' with no turns.

these moves scream not going for it. Elias has been closing games for Seattle but he isn't a guy who strikes out guys.

And it looked like Kendrick was expecting to be held and slowed down at the base only to restart again and get roasted at the plate

Maybe just switch the 1st and 3rd base coaches.

Then everyone will be thrown out at 2nd

Elias is under team control through 2021 and has weird reverse splits. I'd guess he takes Grace's spot and Sipp becomes the LOOGY.

I think Sendley just sealed his fate for next year. He won't be back.
