Let's just get it over with:

I'm going to use acronyms to save time.

G (Game)

S.Y.N.A. (see you next April)

I like our chances against Soroka today.  Hit him hard just 11 days ago and I think younger pitchers have a harder time when batters get familiar with the.  His start in between he gave up 8 hits and 1 BB in 4.2 innings.  He's pitched 70 more innings than last year, so he should start fading down the stretch.

Are we seriously not even going to upgrade the pen?  Well then yeah, might as well blow it all up.  We ain't going nowhere in 2020 without Rendon, Scherzer another year older and Strasburg opting out.

It would be worth losing Rendon if Strasburg opted out.

Rumour mill thinks we're going to trade for Pomeranz.  Traight off 2 seasons of an ERA close to 6.  That seems like the answer to all our hopes and dreams.

Strasburg finally appears to have figured it out.  What do we do if he leaves?

Letting the pitcher hit into a DP seems like something we'd do.
