What do we think of Doolittle in the 9th. I don’t mind it, given that he didn’t pitch all weekend and Thursday is an off day.
I'm kind of with you.  I think I favour making sure you win this one though.   Going with someone else and bringing in Doo with a 3 run lead and a couple guys on, might not go well.

I really like how Doolittle pitched that inning.  Not showing the high strikeout pitches where he has pitches to give.  No walks and a solo homer is perfect.

Didn't cross my mind but that's a good point.   May need the high strikeout pitch later in this series.    Don't let 'em see it if ya don't need it.
