Nats offense is so infuriatingly inconsistent. They'll go stretches of one or two run ball and then score 8 the next game. And then one run again for another 3 days

It drives me crazy when fans say the Nats don't have a chance in a seven-game series against the Dodgers and so shouldn't try to make the postseason. OK, so the Dodgers might be favored but the Nats would be a handful if they improve that crappy pen.

Yeah, we’ve been on the other side of that equation and bowed out to n the first round at least a couple time.  I don’t really buy the championship or bust attitude for baseball.  Watching meaningful game thru August and September is worth something to me.
