Guerra has my 11 yo son's disease.   Gets 2 strikes quickly and can't get the third.

and this is the guy people were clamoring for the other night, he comes in to walk two batters and serve one up with the bases loaded :smh:

Whoever comes in it’s always someone else who Dave should’ve brought in if he wasn’t so stupid.

Guerra has yielded 2 runs in baltimore and two in atlanta in .1 innings in his two previous appearances before last night

Did it make it harder for us since this is the Dodgers second day of this road trip?

And people wanted him to close the other night.

Nats Park is a launching pad in July.  Not a good place for journeyman pitchers and AAAA pitchers.

These last couple of days have given me the sense that we're done for the season as far as contention for the postseason. I fear Scherzer is going to miss starts or not be as effective and this bullpen is not going to cut it going forward.

That is a special kind of stupid...you'd think he would have learned by now...

He’s a fool if he rushes back into this nonsense. Cortisone just masks pain, it doesn’t do anything to heal the underlying problem.

Doolittle should have closed Thursday night. Several days to recover.

Yes, and we know Rizzo is going to plow ahead as if nothing is wrong.

Dave is what he is - a .500 manager. If Lerner is happy with that all the wailing here won’t change anything.

He’s now pitched three times in the past two weeks. Wuss for saying he couldn’t pitch.

Yes the bullpen sucks! We had a great run- but now we are back where we began - Martinez still has no understanding of the pitching side of the game and how to put the players he has in the best position to succeed. He is a Parra bench coach - not  an
 MLB caliber Manager.

Great starting pitching. Terrible pen. Mediocre lineup. Wild card is possible. Most other contenders are flawed also.
