Hi old friends
welcome.  Why don't we celebrate your appearance by having some local oysters.  I'll get mine from the Chesapeake, even though they aren't as good as Cape Cod.  What do you have locally?

try profile/notifications

I looked at that but can't decipher it.    Not sure which "notification" to activate.    I've messed this up before and I know the fix isn't rocket science but I'm too old to remember.

Thanks

Ah hah  ....  found it.    There's an up/down pointer on the bar at the top right of the page.    If the arrow is down, you get no prompts.    If the arrow is up, those prompts appear.

Nah, I'm still lookin' for them.     I have Miata keys though.    Maybe I'll go out for a ride.     :mg:    My neighbor went out of town for a few days.    Left me all her keys.     She has a beamer SUV.    She called from her location and asked me to move it.    I didn't know how to start it.    It didn't use a keyed ignition.     Had to call her back for instructions.    :old:

Not sure at your height that you would fit in this thing unless you dropped the top...damn it's tiny.  I had an MG-B back in the early '70's, and I'm sure it was bigger than this...or maybe I'm just bigger than I was...

Probably the latter...

In '73 or so, three of us rode in an MG of some kind from DC to Virginia Beach.    We couldn't put the roof down because it was raining.     Made for tight quarters for three and 1/2 hours   ...   and we were smoking.    :)

3 of us drove from DeKalb, IL to Macomb, IL in my MG-B in 1971 or 1972 to see NIU play WIU in basketball in October or November.  NIU went 20-4 that season but didn't go to the NCAA or NIT largely because Doug Collins with ISU beat NIU with a buzzer beater.  We felt we were robbed...

It was a 3 hour drive, and my two passengers were 6'4" and 6'2".  The 6'2" guy laying over the batteries was none too pleased.  We too were smokin', but over-the-counter stuff...  :D

Sounds like a great road trip.      I think the first time I became aware of Doug Collins was the '72 Olympic team.

Listening to Dave is so far ahead of Bob. Bob is a really nice guy, and I have grown to appreciate him and FP in their own way. But man, Dave (and Charlie) is just a pleasure to listen to. He even makes FP better.

Yes. I've said it before, I would love a dual TV/radio broadcast with C&D and FP

Sitting behind the extended screens down the 3B line. They are indeed very thin and not a bother. Some may complain about the seems though.
