That is terrific news after Twitter folk made it seem like his foot was cracked in half. Give him one more minor league start and then get him up here. I can't stand one more Patrick Corbin start, I can't take it.

Corbin deserves to be a middle-inning reliever. Add Rutledge to Parker and Irvin. Add Wood in June. And then Cavalli. This season could be fun.

If he's ERA is 7.00, it's an improvement.

Heck of a start.

Summary: 6 IP, 3 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 6 Ks. Imagine if Rutledge is ready this season: Gore, Cavalli, Irvin, Parker, Rutledge. Plus Gray, maybe.

Just convert him to relief

4.2 innings, 2 runs, 4 walks, 5 strikeouts

Just not clicking for him. We actually have some starter depth. Convert him and see if a he becomes an effective reliever

Really struggling right now. Gave up 4R on 8H in 4 1/3 last night, though he did strike out 8.

My guess is a brief call up and an eventual bust.

I think Rutledge will work his way back to where he was at the end of last season. Almost good enough to start for the Nats.
