Watch them go a tear like Milwaukee after Yelich.

Someone needs to lose their job for the Kimbrel signing.

I wanted no part of Kimbrel. He was/is on the same downward spiral Papelbon was on. Given up 9 HRs in 19+ innings for the Cubbies since signing.

No, I've been the one who thought he was finished. Though I think hes trying to pitch through an injury this half-season

What is the 25 man roster rule for the WC?   Can we set a roster for that specific game and then reset for the NLDS?

Hard to be optimistic about the remaining schedule versus Milwaukee's remaining schedule. I have a sinking feeling that the WC tiebreaker will be played in Miller Park.

I have no problem with that.  If we win, it's a shorter flight to LA.

Is Nats Park really that much of an advantage? I think they might be "looser" playing in Milwaukee. Less pressure.

Milwaukee is an under .500 team on the road.

The home team is 2-5 in the Bl wild card game and 4-3 in the al.   Probably not a big enough sample size to matter.  I still think home field is preferred.  Not sure I’d pitch scherzer on the last game of the year if it was to determine home field though.

Nationals receive ANOTHER unearned, undeserved gift, as the Cards score two runs in the 9th to beat the Cubs by 1.

How strange and unusual it was. Each game was by 1 run, and most were last at bat wins for cards. Apparently their last 4 game sweep in Wrigley was way back in 1921.
