The Mets are NO HELP tonight. DeGrom picked a bad time to cough up four runs. There goes my prediction that the Mets are headed for the World Series. If I had a tail, it would be between my legs. Looks like the Mets are done for the year. And now the Cubs will be only 2.5 games behind. It's going to be a grind from this point on.
I’m enjoying the Mets collapse after they got back in the race. Much more fun than if they had just continued as the season was progressing. Still time for the Cubs to fade also.
