Sports stars in all leagues are smoking pot now.  How they do it, I don’t know, but are they doing it?  I’ve definitely been told by many people that they are

Named by the defendant, not sure how much stock can be put in that.

Skaggs had all kinds of drugs and grain alcohol in his system.  Hard to pin it down to any one thing.

On the stand today, Harvey discussed his own usage of oxycodone and admitted to providing Skaggs with Percocet when they were teammates.

Additionally, Harvey shared that he used cocaine earlier in his career while with the New York Mets and was still using when he played in Los Angeles.

other than that, he kept his mind on focused on becoming DeGrom before DeGrom became DeGrom.

Does he say he kept pitching in 2015 because he had so many painkillers he didn't realize that his arm wasn't recovered from surgery?

Harvey will probably go down in history as this generation's biggest crash and burn. He flew way too close to the sun and paid the consequences for doing that.

He's the Dwight Gooden of his era.

Yep.  And Gooden and Fernandez were better pitchers.  And Gooden seems be a more prolific drug addict.  Bronze medal for the Dark Knight.

How could I forget. I guess it's because he literally burnt ALL the way out. Harvey flamed out but is obviously still around. I'm still sad about Fernandez, and Yordano Ventura too.

Why I hate Mets fans -- they came to Nationals Park to see Harvey vs. Strasburg -- and chanted "Harvey's Better".  Losers all.

Matt Harvey gets 60-game suspension for drug distribution

Major League Baseball announced on Tuesday that they have suspended right-handed pitcher Matt Harvey for 60 games for distributing a prohibited drug of abuse, which is a violation of MLB's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Harvey's suspension is retroactive to April 29.

Harvey testified in the Texas case against former Los Angeles Angels employee Eric Kay in connection to the death of Tyler Skaggs. Harvey, who agreed to testify in exchange for immunity, acknowledged providing Skaggs with Percocet pills found in his possession the day he died. Kay was found guilty of two felony counts.
