AL really only has 3 teams playing well, and will squeeze another 2 into the WC from the Bosox, Rays, Indians, and Rangers.  I don't think their records are all that much better than the Nats, but I haven't checked in a while.

In July they came up 1 short of the goal of winning 16 a month for the last three months of the season.

July record 15-10. Gotta do better.

The Nats fell 1 short of the goal in July but were three over in August. Good thing. The schedule gets tougher in September for the home stretch. We needed 16 in a month for the last three months to get to 90. With one to go the Nats are 2 ahead of the pace but will need every win they can get.

July - 15 - 10
August - 19 - 7

It looked shaky early in the month but the Nats finished with a flurry. So it was said win 16 in a month the last three months and see where we're at. That's not easy to do but they surpassed that and got first in the wildcard. Great job!!

September - 17-11

Finish - 93 - 69

After going 19-31, the Nats went 74-38 the rest of the way. A .661 win %.
