The Sixers are now the favorite underachievers in the NBA.

It’s Embiid using the John Kruk approach to conditioning

Miami and Boston would be an unexpected East final.

the end of the 4th q, with so many bad calls, annoyed me, but that 2d OT was amazing even if the Cs lost.  Lowrie was incredible.  Just wish he wouldn't be like a soccer player and hook arms to make it look like he's fouled and flop.  Even our German kid (Theis) doesn't flop like that, and he played soccer growing up.  Meanwhile, I really do need to pick up a Marcus Smart jersey.

I’m hoping the Clippers win since they have not won before.

I like Doc a lot and it would be great for him to pick up a title with a second team, but I like the style of this particular Celtics team.  Marcus Smart is just a tremendous defender and good with the ball in his hands.  I cringe a bit at his quick 3s but beyond that, he's complete.  Jaylen Brown should be President if he were 12 years older.  Beyond that, it's fun to watch him and Tatum together.  Hard to believe it's Brown's 3d conference final and Tatum's 2d.  Kemba is just a much better fit for the team than Kyrie, and Theis is a nice 4 playing 5. Lot's of 2d rounders, too, paying off.  And with Pete Buttigieg as the coach, they are an easy team to pull for.

The good news for Wizards fans is that Javale McGee is back in the Finals again.  Talk about being in the right place at the right time again.
